But no worries, we are going to point you towards a brand that is sure to please, by providing all the services you need while delivering the highest quality stunningly beautiful ring - Jean Dousset.

The Evolution Of A New Luxury Jewelry Brand

You may be thinking to yourself, I don't think I've heard of this brand. That is because it is relatively new (in comparison to known luxury jewelry brands.)

This brand was introduced to the world in 2010 and named for its founder Jean Dousset. But make no mistake, celebrities have found it, including celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Amy Adams and Eva Longoria, to name just a few..

How We Choose

As mentioned above, the number of sources for information and locations to purchase engagement rings is never ending. In one way that’s a good thing-it means commitment is alive and well! But on the other hand, who has time to read and digest the information on all these sites/brands? We do!

We have analyzed the information, compared the products and used our knowledge and experience to help guide you in the right direction.

We also read thousand of reviews, not only on how customers feel about the quality of the rings they purchased, but the all- important process and followup.

There are many great brands that offer gorgeous rings out there, today we will focus on Jean Dousset, because we found this brand irresistible.

What You Need To Know About This Brand

Let’s start with the founder and his dreams of making his own mark in the world of fine jewelry.

Jean Dousset comes from jewelry royalty, as his great-great grandfather was Louis-Francois Cartier, founder of La Maison Cartier in 1847.

He has fine jewelry in his blood and worked and apprenticed with other iconic luxury jewelry brands such as Chaumet, Boucheron and Van Cleef & Arpels, before deciding to establish his own brand in the U.S. in Beverly Hills, California.

The recognition of this brand is growing and growing fast, especially with the introduction in 2021 of the OUI line of jewelry featuring lab grown diamonds.

The Rings

Bespoke Rings

The brand began with designing custom pieces and now offers handcrafted, made to order rings; clients may also order custom design pieces via the the exquisite Jean Dousset website.

If you find yourself in California make an appointment to visit their Beverly Hills showroom. Highly trained and experienced specialists will begin the process of designing your ring or show you sample rings. If you prefer you may set up a virtual appointment.

Clients can also begin the process online, by using the Design Your Dream Ring® option.

This is Jean Dousset's proprietary online ring designer. First, clients select their favorite setting with options to customize, then select the precious metal, select a natural diamond (from the digital diamond feed-available stones) by shape, size, color, clarity and price-point, then select their Signature Stone®, indicate finger size and add a personal engraved message. The client will then see the ring design come together before their eyes.

All settings that feature small accent diamonds, such as in pavé settings, are natural diamonds. Lab-created diamonds can be requested.

Following your online order you will be contacted by a specialist to address any questions or special requests prior to finalizing the details.
The consultants and jewelers keep clients involved all through the process to ensure that pieces exceed expectations.

Each piece is handmade to order.

OUI by Jean Dousset

OUI, the French word for “yes” is an extraordinary line of engagement rings and ready-to-ship jewelry all featuring lab grown diamonds.

Here is why Jean Dousset believes lab-grown diamonds fit his brand profile and are what his customers want.

The Benefits Of Lab-Grown Diamonds

The descriptions above outline the benefits of lab grown diamonds and the reasons Jean Dousset offers them to clients.

Prior to incorporating these diamonds into the Jean Dousset line of fine jewelry, the company consulted with potential clients.

They conducted surveys and focus groups to determine how aware the group was of lab grown diamonds and their feelings about purchasing them for themselves or a loved one. The results were positive and Jean Dousset decided to go forward.

Below we've featured five Jean Dousset designs that we love, a mixture of the signature brand and OUI.

Nathalie Solitaire Engagement Ring - OUI

CHECK PRICE ON JEAN DOUSSET!

Why we love the Natalie Solitaire Engagement Ring:

To be honest, there is so much to love about the Natalie solitaire. There is nothing more classic, or popular, than a round brilliant cut diamond on a simple delicate tapered band. (Trust me, I sold a million of them at T&Co.)

The fact that this ring features a lab grown diamond is fantastic, and if you've read the article so far, you can see that the reasons are well defined.

But Natalie has what solitaire rings purchased elsewhere do not, the Signature Stone® The pavé diamonds on the basket and bridge of the setting that add to the beauty and sparkle of this ring from every direction.

But best of all, you cannot argue, is the price. With price points starting at $3200 for a gorgeous, high quality, ideal cut, one-carat lab-created diamond (setting price included) who would not want to present or receive such a gorgeous ring!

Eva Seamless Halo® Engagement Ring

Why we love the Eva Seamless Halo® Engagement Ring:

We love that diamonds are everywhere on this ring! The prong-less diamonds that form the halo around the natural oval center diamond showcase it beautifully. Halos always highlight the center stone to its best advantage and makes it appear larger than it actually is.

We also love how the 18K yellow gold setting contrasts the colorless diamonds, but if that's not your taste, no worries, the options include 18K white gold or platinum.
